Location
Eisteddfa is about 1.5 miles from
the coastal town of Criccieth with its spectacular castle
and wide beach. The Criccieth Musical Festival is held
every June. It won the Town in Bloom competition for the
whole of Europe which has made it worth a visit and to taste the
famous Cadwalader ice cream. There are numerous good eating
places here as well.
Eight miles away is the increasingly popular marina in Pwllheli,
which is the gateway to the Lleyn Peninsula, Portmadog,
Portmerion, Ffestiniog Railway and the Snowdonia
National Park.
It is only an hours drive to famous Bodnant Gardens.
